They're only 110 shipped. | | | 01-27-2009, 01:04 PM | #3 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! Posts: 3,156 | I have a set of ti sport springs availavle- front for sure, posibly rears too (I don't remember right now). I also have the rear sway bar (because I just had my hand on it a couple days ago) and possibly the front as well. If you have a BMW scrap yard near you, all the E36 convertibles (not just M3 convertibles) have the X-brace unde them. That might be a cheaper alternative than new. You will still need riv-nuts and bolts for it. | | | 01-27-2009, 04:34 PM | #4 | Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Filthiest city in the world, USA Posts: 60 | Quote: Originally Posted by HuGo Just buy a new x-brace. I wish I would have bought it when it was $110 (and Kosei K1s from TireRack when they were $100 each, HIDs from DDM when they were $80, etc). | | | 01-27-2009, 04:39 PM | #5 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! At least they came this way from the factory. __________________ custom dual exhaust,M3 front and rear bumper, 10.4 inch roof mount drop screen, Viper alarm system, DSII's rims, M3 Vader Seats, M3 Mirrors, Carbon Fiber CAI, Smoked Corners, Side Markers, Leatherz armrests, black grilles 225k miles and still the Ti goes on | | | 01-28-2009, 12:48 AM | #8 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! The holes are drilled however- perhaps this is what changed in 94... | | | 01-28-2009, 03:24 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Well I bought mine for 110 shipped new. It was on the group buy section of bf.c. I'm not sure if it's still there. I bought mine like a year ago though. | | | 01-28-2009, 04:07 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by Will'sBimmer If your e36 was produced after 10/94 then you already have the rivet nuts present to mount the brace. In my 98 we had to install the rivet nuts. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 01-28-2009, 05:50 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Memphis, Tn Posts: 1,299 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti Just the holes are there. You need the rivet nuts. __________________ custom dual exhaust,M3 front and rear bumper, 10.4 inch roof mount drop screen, Viper alarm system, DSII's rims, M3 Vader Seats, M3 Mirrors, Carbon Fiber CAI, Smoked Corners, Side Markers, Leatherz armrests, black grilles 225k miles and still the Ti goes on | | | 02-05-2009, 06:53 PM | #14 | Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: Silver Spring, MD Posts: 69 | We have plent of genuine BMW x-brace 'kits' in stock and ready to ship!!!
