"Due to the overwhelming interest, I'm raising the price" It appears that he doesn't want people to be interested in buying his car if he's raising the price. Also, I like the way he added that it's missing an airbag and the fuel gauge doesn't work. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 11-29-2007, 09:03 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 This guy sounds like a douchebag. In his case I think it backfired on him. I don't doubt that the car is worth the 2 grand he's asking for it. But since he pulled a dirtbag move and raised the price, I wouldn't even bother dealing with him. Besides being an automatic, fuel gauge not working, airbag missing and oh yeah the motor being trashed, I wonder how many other hidden problems the car has. I know people are thinking "well for two grand, what do you expect?" but that's not the point. It doesn't matter if he was only asking two hundred for it. At the very least, he should be honest. If you got a sale flyer in the mail and went to the store to find out that they raised the prices because people "showed interest", would you still shop there? Of course not and the store would soon go out of business because of false advertisement lawsuits. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 11-29-2007, 09:44 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Long Beach area Posts: 1,189 | "I changed my mind, I don't want to sell it anymore, so I'll raise the price to get less interest. kthxbye!" hahaha...I wouldn't wanna deal with that guy either... __________________ 97 Jet Black 318ti Sport.
