Default Collision HELP me SAVE my ti ~ please

October 2011 front end slow impact high-repair cost collision to my jet black 1995 ti Club Sport prompted my membership in this forum. This "total loss" cuts to my soul. Have to find quality repair work somewhere. Tips please.
Have post-collision pics.

Get a lot of money for the settlement, keep the car, and buy another one.

And post the pics. Would make it easier to help out.

ti's have a low book value so it doesn't take much to make them a total loss, could you post the pics? at a slow speed I'd think the damage would be minor enough to be repairable

Thumbs up 147 post-collision pics

Will post three initial pics taken when towed to body shop for repair estimate. Will post others later. Submitted 144 pics to insurer for condition evidence; so far claims rep. may add $722 to market valuation.

$722 is probably not enough to keep insurance from totaling it, if that is what they really want to do. If it was low speed and your Club Sport was in good condition before the mishap, it's probably worth fixing and you should be able to buy it back for relatively cheap. If possible, try to have them give you the value of a comparable Club Sport, not just a generic blue book value for a ti. Although, as was stated before, pictures would help in assessing what may or may not need to be replaced.

Arrow Market Valuation

$722 is in addition to Market Valuation by Ins. Co.'s appraiser.
Initial "Cash out" settlement proposal a was a bit over $3000.
Initial "Salvage Title" proposal less, of course. $1000 deductible.

THREE INITIAL PICS IN GALLERY NOW.

Thanks zoner. Ideas on where to find the "value of a comparable Club Sport?" Pictures are being posted now in the Member Gallery.

I hate to tell you this, but, um... that's not a Club Sport.

Also, that looks like a pretty substantial impact. If you've tweaked the subframe at all or done any damage to engine components (both look like possibilities, given the damage), you might just want to start looking for a replacement car.

mostly cosmetic stuff, the Club Sport came with the full M3 kit on it, including mirrors, a red cloth and black leather two tone interior, 16" 5 spoke rims and slightly stiffer springs and sway bars. it was also only available with a manual and in either red or black

looks like you hit an SUV or truck, that's actually not a bad thing because they're usually high enough to clear the frame rails, if the frame rails are fairly straight you should be able to fix it. my silver ti was in an accident that tweaked the front of the frame rails and it still drives fine
