It looks like a newer model and more modern in my opinion. What do u guys think?? Has anyone here done this...I have a silver ti, so this is pretty much exactly what it would look like if i painted the trim, but I want ur opinion. I think it would look great even on a black ti to have the trim painted glossy black like the paint. When there is too much area of a color without a edge or sharp bend in the shape, I think it just looks weird. Ever see somebody without eyebrows? This M3 somewhat defies that because it 1. is a ragtop, 2. has dark colored wheels. Both of these set off having too much silver. I've seen a whited out M3 and it just looked plastic for some reason. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 10-03-2006, 03:50 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Gilroy Posts: 158 | Quote: Originally Posted by aceyx I think that the black trim is an important detail on cars. I just wanted to see an actual ti with this aftermarket feature. | | | 10-03-2006, 04:00 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Tampa, FL Posts: 677 | I did a photoshop on my car and I personally think it would look amazing on my car. Honestly I think it depends on the car's color. If you really want to know what it would look like just photoshop the color onto the trim and see how you like it. __________________ my new world | | | 10-03-2006, 04:15 AM | #6 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | I personally do not like the painted trim,it looks best in black. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 10-03-2006, 07:55 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 1,152 | There are a few members on here with painted moldings. Check in the gallery section for pics. I think it depends on the color of the car. P.S. - hit it with 'Forever Black' once in a while, too...
