The window keeps getting out of track, and the right arm keeps popping out of the little plastic piece that sets into your window track. I noticed the plastic piece was cracked, which is causing it to pop out, so I tried to jb weld it. I can't find this piece anywhere on the web, and really don't need a whole regulator. Can anyone recommend doing anything? This is getting to be quite the pain in the ass | | | 02-03-2010, 12:49 AM | #2 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | | | | 02-03-2010, 12:49 AM | #3 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | Do a little searching on this site, there's a good write-up on how to permanently fix your regulators. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! Thankfully there's some hardcore internet browsers that know the hookups, lol. I really appreciate the help, and hopefully I can get this damn thing fixed for good. | | | 02-03-2010, 12:59 AM | #5 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | No worries Brett. Windows coming off track are a common problem for these cars. They can be a serious PITA your first couple of times messing with them, but rest assured, there is a correct way to fix them and then you should be hassle free for quite some time, or at least until your plastic cooling system components go bad | | | 02-03-2010, 01:03 AM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: Littlestown, PA Posts: 13 | Haha yeah, the guy I bought the car from replaced some of those plastic cooling parts you're talking about. Def. a goofy design to use for that system. The car has 170k on it, and still runs good. Check engine light came on yesterday, so I'm real excited to find out what that's all about, lol. | | | 07-03-2010, 07:04 PM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2010 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 6 | on my car the passenger window will go up and down a lil bit even pushing it for full auto up and down. so i'm wondering if its the switch or the regulator plz halp me out | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
