Default Window Regulator Hassle!@#$#!%

I have a 97 318ti, and I'm getting real frustrated with my window reg. The window keeps getting out of track, and the right arm keeps popping out of the little plastic piece that sets into your window track. I noticed the plastic piece was cracked, which is causing it to pop out, so I tried to jb weld it. I can't find this piece anywhere on the web, and really don't need a whole regulator. Can anyone recommend doing anything? This is getting to be quite the pain in the ass

You're not looking in the right places then. Took me less than 5 minutes.

Do a little searching on this site, there's a good write-up on how to permanently fix your regulators.

Thanks guys, I don't really get on here too much. Thankfully there's some hardcore internet browsers that know the hookups, lol. I really appreciate the help, and hopefully I can get this damn thing fixed for good.

No worries Brett. Windows coming off track are a common problem for these cars. They can be a serious PITA your first couple of times messing with them, but rest assured, there is a correct way to fix them and then you should be hassle free for quite some time, or at least until your plastic cooling system components go bad

Haha yeah, the guy I bought the car from replaced some of those plastic cooling parts you're talking about. Def. a goofy design to use for that system. The car has 170k on it, and still runs good. Check engine light came on yesterday, so I'm real excited to find out what that's all about, lol.
