oh man, those are baller trucks!!
you cant find those around here, anyone who is lucky enough to have one hoards it cause they can take it anywhere around here, desert, rocks, hills you name it.

my uncle had a defnder series 1 when he lived in Zambia - said could not kill the f-ing thing, no matter how hard he tried...

Thanks for the comments guys, The land rover is my first car and it's going to be a while yet before I get rid of it. It cops a beating when I take it off road and it keeps coming back!

I'm going to have to get something one of these days with coil springs, disc brakes and power steering though!!

Here's mine. One flexing out on a nice incline the dirtbikers were kind enough to make

The other when she's being repaired in the sand pit. Snapped the front leaf spring in two, ruined my last outing with her Drove home at 65 no problem, just a little lopsided

I see you have leafs... painful when offroad eh?

I usually resort to running my tyres at 10psi when i'm off road to improve traction... and also make it a hell of a lot more comfortable!!!

Yep, 4" lift springs in the front, and SOA rear with stock springs.

Never had a problem with traction, and she was more comfortable than you'd think. I attributed that to the nissan 300zx seats I had in it.
