Default New Car Stereo
Hiya! I need recommendations for a new car stereo for my 330ci. I don't want to spend more than $200 and I want it to have an ipod dock. My stock stereo keeps getting really hot when it's playing CD's and it makes them skip...so I think I just need to get a new stereo. Any suggestions? I don't need anything fancy I just want it to sound good. I have harman kardon speakers and that's about all I know. I'll prolly have the stereo installed where I buy it...unless Eric wants to do it...

Any advice would be really appreciated. I'd ask on e46fanatics but they're boring...

not bad for a cheap stereo, you'll also need the panel to fill in the gaps from the smaller headunit, Alpine and Blaupunkt are also good brands, but can be a little more pricey

i'm about to buy this...

... i've seen it for as low as $180. it has front aux in and usb (for ipod, flash drive) and an sd card slot. plays dvds too.

Heres the head unit I have in my car(or it's very similar to what I have), it is ipod compatible, and i find it quite nice
