Default A/C with 6cyl swap

One of the final things I need to do is add a 328 A/C compressor. Has anyone else done this?

If so, any tips for me?

You will need to get your system evacuated. The shop I got mine done at recommended getting a new drying container whenever you open the system. You also need the M52 hose as Xeno said.

you can evacuate it yourself If you have a vacuum pump, i bought one for 15 at harbor freight.

Well, I've already done the ghetto evacuation. I guess I'll just find the M52 hose and get a new drying container.

well you also have to evacuate it (place under vaccum) when you go to fill it up again.

FWIW i didn't replace my dryer. Actually bought a new one but long story it never went in, never had a problem with it.

I have some AC gauges and a vaccum pump I might start lending out on this forum if you want to use it. Will cost you ~20 to fill with cans of refrigerant and oil from autozone. Most places around here charge about 80-100 for r134a service.

I would recommend replacing your dryer. Its cheap and a new one will help the system function at its peak.

You really should get both lines attached to the compresser from the 328. You can use the line from the condensor to the compressor, but it's a little long and kind of clumsey.

Most importantly are you going to run the engine fan off the water pump? If not, you'll need an electric fan solution or you'll put your compressor at risk.
