Get it direct from Downing/Atlanta: http://www.downingatlanta.com. Or get in on a group buy, if there's one going on.

A Group Buy is usually organized by someone who works with a vendor or manufacturer to get a lower price for an item based on a minimum number of buyers. You can try to organize one or see if anyone is willing to do it, but it's been awhile since someone tried for the DASC.

I'm installing the KO supercharger soon. Wait and see how this one turns out, and maybe you would prefer it ($2085 shipped).

Didn't KO go up in price? Can you still get one for that low L8?

L8 got it for the introductory price, but we may be able to get closer to that price with a group buy. i'm thinking spring/summer next year myself.
