It doesn't fix the leather, it just makes the veins appear like they aren't there. I called Leatherique, and they rematched the dye, and send a bottle of stuff to remove the previous dye.....I think. I gotta tell ya, it looks very nice, but closeup, you can see some streaking. Everyone who has seen them, in person, says it came out fantastic. As far as red stitching, maybe you should just dye over them black. | Funny I think the cloth centers with leather trim is the ideal combination. cloth never gets hot and holds you tight in the twisties. The leather trim adds a nice accent. prd318onr- if you have the red+ black interior don't dye over the red stitching- it is a nice detail IMO and probably more work than if you were just careful around it with the dye. just be patient. the leatherique rejuvenator stuff is top notch but since you are dying black on black, not sure if you need something specialized.
