but will a m50 transmission fit the m44 engine?

yes, the Getrag transmission will bolt up no problem.

hey Chris thanks for the info. My buddy has a tranny sitting at his house and imma end up doing a swap cuz i h8 my slush bucket. What other parts do i need besides the peddle assembly

Speak to Marv, his m44 had an automatic tranny and he did the tranny swap when he did the s52 swap.

yeah but he swapped the motor and transmission haha i am just swapping the transmission into the m44

Does not matter, as previously stated the tranny fits in either 4 or 6 banggers! Just get a hold of him and ask about the pedal, clutch reservoir, etc.
