I do have to disconnect the shocks when I close the hood to prevent it from bending the hood, but I left them installed since I use them as hood props Last edited by tiFreak; 10-02-2010 at 01:39 AM. | | | 10-02-2010, 03:45 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Bethlehem, PA Posts: 1,106 | alright, i just wanted to make sure. i think i might go for the blemished one for like $380 - $400 , new, shipped. thanks man! __________________ Check out our new website! https://soltechsolutionsllc.com/ Green Your Decor with the Aspect! I left the shocks connected, but I am thinking about removing them because they are starting to make the hood fold a little, but overall, the fitment is nice. of course its the sedan hood... I tried to match up my old m3 coupe hood just to see, and its much different. | | | 10-05-2010, 11:08 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Bethlehem, PA Posts: 1,106 | does anyone know the legal point of view for using carbon fiber hoods? since it changes how the car crumbles together, it might not be legal? it seems to be in the gray area, but not sure. i was just wondering. tried to google it, but no one said for sure. __________________ Check out our new website! https://soltechsolutionsllc.com/ Green Your Decor with the Aspect!
