Just dont want to get them, then nothing bolts up correctly | | | 08-02-2006, 03:06 PM | #2 | Member Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: FT LUADERDALE, FL Posts: 91 | youll need to get spindles for that conversion but from my understanding the 325, 328 bolts right in, then youll have to buy the rotors, & pads __________________ Specs: M-Technic Front/Rear, M3 Side Skirts & Mirrors, MS Roof Wing, Euro Tail Lights, Projector Signals, ADR M Sport 18x8.5, H&R Sport Springs, Bilstien Sport Shocks, E46 M3 Rear Shock Mounts, M Roadster Rear Shock Mount Plates, Momo Shift Knob, Bavauto 8mm Perf Wires, K&N Cone Filter, Stainless Steel Brake Lines, Cross Drilled Rotors, 20 Piece Carbon Fiber Dash Kit, NR White Guage Face, X-Brace, BMP Strut Tower Brace, UUC stage 2 flywheel, and SS clutch line | | | 08-02-2006, 04:03 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Cherry Hill, NJ Posts: 127 | So you are sayin I need a spindle upgrade as well from an M3 to fit M3 front brakes? Will it be a a noticeable upgrade for e36 325 328 front brakes? | | | 08-02-2006, 06:41 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by Adog2107 So obviously best upgrade to avoid all the excess parts is the direct bolt on e46 330 front brake setup? And even them I have my doubts. My 325/328 brakes stop me just fine on the track with no fade. The downside is less of a choice of wheels. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 08-02-2006, 09:37 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Oakland, baby! I run 15" steel wheels in the winter. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 08-03-2006, 02:31 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Portland Or Posts: 2,666 | 330 requires 17" wheels according to most of the data I can find. I have talked to a couple guys at the track that found certain wheels in 16 will fit but they were like BBS race wheels or Momo and at 2500 EACH thats not on "my" shopping list!
