Default Meyle vs Generic

I am looking to buy some new control arms, links and tie rods but wanted to get some opinions. Have any of you had any experience with the Generic parts sold on Ebay as apposed to the Meyle brand? Price difference is about $3-400 and generic kit is only $116.00 for the whole set.

I have no experience with the generics, but that is st00pid cheap for all of that stuff together. . .so cheap that I would worry about quality. Lemförder has been the preferred provider of control arms, better ball joints, but I think the new Meyle HD's are supposed to be pretty good.

Do you think they are worst than worn out rotted rubber ones? Just asking since they are very cheap. I mean, it is just rubber, whats the worst that can happen, that they wear out sooner? Really like the price ... Of course safety first... any1 have these?>

I was talking to a club racer at a track event and he told me that he had a meyle ball joint shear off while lapping a few events after he installed them. He said lemforder or nothing. Obviously, racing is different from street but still.

Suspension pieces are important, I would never run that ebay stuff on my car. I've had no issues with my meyle hd control arms.
