I already know Mr. Ken Potter has posted an excellent article about how to install heated seat. http://www.happytogether.com/318ti/n...eat/index.html (If he's still around, I would really like to appreciate his time and effort of putting this document together.)

However, I could not locate any part number for the retrofit kit. Here's another website about the part number: http://www.kyana.com/ti/numbers1.htm
It says 52.11.9.402.813 or 52.11.9.402.814, depending on standard or sports seat. But I could not locate these in the ETK part CD at all.

So far I could find the P/N for heating element for the backrest and the cushion, which are 64 11 8 391 696/697, for standard seats. But these do not seem to include the P/N for the little parts like wiring harness, switches, relays that are mentioned in Mr. Potter's article.

If there's anyone who's done this install, please let me know the part number for the items required in this install. Thank you.

Maybe try a wrecking yard. they could rip out all the electrical parts related to heated seats from a similar car. You should be all set then.

I do not know of any wreckyard around Rochester, or upstate NY, that does BMW's. Are there any reliable online sources?
