Sweet, thanks for that find!

I did a search and didn't find anything directly related, but can a a Thule bike rack fit to the BMW roof rails? (this question is directed to anyone, not just you eurohb)

Oh I definitely plan on buying the OEM rails because of the price, I am just wondering if I could then use a Thule Bike rack to clamp onto the OEM rails.
I'm trying to find dimensions of the BMW rails so I can see if the bike rack will need to be modified

I'm not quite sure how the Thule attachment system works, but if it is clamp-on, it will most likely fit (but may require some minor modification). If it is some sort of modular system, it may not. I have the OEM racks and an aftermarket Inno bike mount and it works fine. I also have the OEM snowboard mount (also NLA) and while it attaches to the rack nicely, it leaves a little to be desired, performance wise.

I can take a look at my racks a little later today and get some measurements for you.

rocky mounts is a direct fit for the rack it seems.

That rack pictured is a little different design than the ti, but the but the top slot on the rack where the front of the bike carrier mounts looks about the same dimensions.

I think I may have to get a white one!
