Default Where is the power steering fluid located?

I did a search but could not find any info on this and my owners manual say to call dealership...wtf
I'm trying to find out where the power steering fluid is so i can see if it's low. Also if anyone knows where the power steering motor is located and engine is a m44,not sure if theres a difference between m42 or m44.

the resevoir that i was thinking was used for the P/S fluid says "use ATF oil only". so i assumed that was for that tranny fluid. but the resevoir pictured above looks exactly like my "ATF" one...is this for the P/S fluid then??? im confused. or does ATF stand for something else in German??

the power steering pump/system uses ATF (automatic transmission fluid). i'm going to use mobil 1 or amsoil synthetic ATF when i do mine.

When i checked my level out the cap had a little dipstick on it and it was bone dry. It looked like there was two markings on it but no writing. And the cylinder was a little white thing inside the black canister. I mean i could see it but could't tell if it was low or not. IS this dipstick supposed to be wet with fluid?

Yep.
My guess it is leaking out the trombone looking hose in front of your sway bar.

As far as I know, I asked my mechanic and he told me that the fluid should be sitting somewhere in between the two lines on the cap. If the cap is dry.........then you should add more fluid. You should take the time and flush the system while your at it. I did mine like 2 weeks ago, I used Mobil1 Dextron III. That one seems to be a popular choice.

Where did you buy this Juni? Autozone or someplace? How do you flush it out,unplug one of the hoses and drain?

I picked it up at autozone. It was like $6-$7 a quart.......you'll about one and a half to fill the system entirely. Probably need like three quarts if your gonna flush the system.
