Default Bilstein Vs. H&R Coilovers!

Coilover time, I am very excited however I am debating two setups either the Bilstein PSS9's or the H&R Street performance kit. This is where my debate starts do the H&R's have dampening adjustments? its doesn't say on their web page.. Conversely are the bilsteins true coilovers or are they sleeved? Anyways whats peoples opinion ? just looking for some random feedback..

umm...if it helps any the bilstein shocks and struts i find better because...well they are from germany...lol...i know it sounds like im sticking to tooooo much european bult machinery but i think that because it is european that they would understand the balance and everything else of the car to be able to build a well designed strut and shock...but i like the H&R springs...im not sure why but i just do...lol

my take on coil overs...

Don't go for racing adjustable coils if you're not going to be racing!... the adjustability of these set-ups is what makes them unsuitable for "normal" JOE to use them on a day to day basis. I know it sounds great and it feels even better to say "I have adjustable coil overs on my car pss...whatever" but the truth is that if you are not a "crew chief" with lots of know-how on how everything works and should work, and what to do to fix it when it doesn't feel right.... go for blistein Sport Shocks and Struts and H&R/BavAuto Spring set-up. This is from personal experience... I didn't go through it but I had a buddie install PSS.. and went from moderately fast to SLOW, because of the settings on the coils... even when he dialed them in more to his liking he was still slower than what he was with STOCK shocks/springs... Go figure right!... This was on an e46 ZCP M3...

Hope this helps...

Well I went garage five today to get some prices.. these two setups were a touch more than I was willing to pay at 2050 for the Pss9's and 1786 for the H&R'S thats plus tax on both too.. So what I am thinking is would it be better to build my own setup IE get springs sleeves and shocks all separate. If so what would you guys say would be a good setup?

Dude... Have you even looked at Bavarian Autosport or Turner Motorsport?
BavAuto has 2 packages => height adjustable coil overs for the ti for $699.95 or Blistein Sport w/BavAuto Springs for $652.27...
Turner=> has a Blistein Sport w/ H&R Springs for $749.00 and the PSS for $1,049.00

BavAuto might even offer free ground shipping with that...
