Smile Found Engine and parts for swap good price?

I found a garage that will sale me the Engine with accessories, Transmission and ECU for $4200 shipped to my door. The engine has 80k miles. Is this a good deal?

Also, if anyone else has suggestions on what I should ask him for, like i thought about the instrument cluster. What drive shaft will I need since I'm putting in an m3 transmission? If anyone has a list of parts that I should definately get with the engine that'd be great.

Let me give you info on the engine's that i have as options

I can get a 1997 3.2L with all accessories for drop in inlcuding ECU and transmission for $5000 87k miles on that engine. I can get a 3.2L 1999 engine/tranny/ecu/accessories for $4200 it has around 85k miles on it. I can get a 1997 3.2L with engine/tranny/accessories for $4500 with 90k miles. and I can get a 1997 3.2L with engine/tranny/accessories for drop in with 54k miles for $4995 he also said that htey steam cleaned it did all kinda diagnostics checks on it.

Wich would you get?

Any of those engines would work (OBDII to OBDII), the '97 engine seems like the best deal with only 54K miles.

I agree, plus the steam cleaning is always nice, and he said that they ran the compression checks and took of the valve cover and checked everything out, seems too good to be true, but I think im gonna go with that one

I think all of the engines that u talked abt up there can b easily fitted into your car... !
just ask ur techincian...
but go for the engine with the less miles and the engine with the newest production date ... sometimes its a factor
