Basically the same mechanism as ignoring a user, but on a larger scale. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! Here are a couple of options for ignoring threads: - Ignore Thread: Allow Users to Ignore Threads of Their Choosing
- Hide ignored users' threads
... and an option for ignoring forums: Selective Forum Filter Would any of those work here on this forum? __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! I still need to edit 6 templates from the last upgrade. But come on, do you like everything that is on TV or just skip over the parts you don't care to view? __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 08-30-2007, 01:24 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Seattle, WA Posts: 402 | I posted this a while ago, but it was buried in a thread. There is an easy way to not view certain subforums, as I list here, and Steven doesn't have to do anything for you to implement it: http://www.318ti.org/forum/showpost....61&postcount=8 __________________ 1997 332ti - Don't even ask. 2006 330i - ZPP/ZSP/ZCW/6sp/Nav/BT/H&R Sport 2011 E92 M3 | | | 08-30-2007, 01:45 PM | #5 | doesn't care about you. I remembered you posting that, but couldn't remember which thread it was in. Now I just need to get accustomed to using the bookmark instead of the "New Posts" link. Not something that get's used much, but I'll certainly remember it next time the forum encounters a "not so friendly" member. For those interested, under User CP there's a setting which allows you to edit your "ignore list" in which you can simply enter the username of your choice and it'll be like they don't even exist, unless someone quotes one of their posts in which case you'll only see that particular quote: http://www.318ti.org/forum/profile.php?do=ignorelist Last edited by cooljess76; 07-13-2012 at 01:09 AM. | | | 07-12-2012, 10:30 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2011 Location: Broomfield,Colorado Posts: 664 | Lol Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2 | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
