Exclamation Need Help!

My Ti is having rear vibration and I changed the differential mount hoping it would solve it but it didn't . The vibration goes away when I let the car coast but once I step on the gas the vibration comes back Might it be the flex disc or center bearing? If anyone can help I would appreciate it!!!

Did you get any help?

If not give us some more info. What kind of vibration? Where do you feel it? Where do you hear it? Did you do anything to the car before all this started?

The vibration comes from rear and no I haven't done anything to the car it just started doing it. Sometimes when I'm at a light and step on the gas hard I can hear like a clunking sound

The clunk could be the center bearing.

I'm gonna ask a bunch of stupid questions now:

Where do you feel the vibration? Seat of your pants? more in the back? Right thigh but not left? Does it feel more centered on the car or more one side than the other? Put your hand on the tunnel behind the console and judge if the vibration is in front of it or in back.

You can get under the car and tug on stuff to see what moves and what doesn't. Double check the new diff mount too. Yank the driveshaft(middle and both ends), wheels, suspension, whatever... in different directions and see if you can duplicate the clunk noise.

I'm blind as a bat so I go mainly by feel to locate a bad bushing but if you have a good eye for detail look at anything rubber for cracks or tears. Maybe something just doesn't look centered the way you think it should.

I'm no pro but I hope this helps narrow it down.

For me the clunk was a bad U-joint but that doesn't sound like your problem.

I do think you need to just shotgun components.
I'd do the flex-disc and center load bearing.
Pretty much the same labor involved to do both.

How can I find out if I have a bad U-joint? What symptoms did you have?
Yesterday I went under the car and was moving the driveshaft and the rear U-joint was making a clicking sound
