So i think $45 and unlimited availability is pretty reasonable . | | | 03-25-2009, 02:34 AM | #17 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Raleigh/Charlotte, NC Posts: 1,233 | its not unlimited, i think you get 5 or 6....then your whole car has to be re-keyed. __________________ -Jeff | | | 03-26-2009, 10:36 PM | #18 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | I lost my car keys (only one i had) and 2 two house keys. Along with the keyless entry remote for the doors (on ti). The dealer said i couldnt get one? Or they dont know about it? When they looked up on the history they said my car wasnt equipped with it. But it does have BMW keyless entry. Hell the remote even said BMW on it. I got 2 master keys (with push in light on the key (on both keys)). Good news, both keys started the car right up. No need to reprogram ews/ecu I got them yesterday. | | | 03-26-2009, 10:49 PM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Just buy a remote off ebay. Cheaper than the dealer anyway. They are easy to program since you already have the OEM functioning alarm installed, there's a simple DIY on here and on Pelican Parts... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion.
