$560 for a new Mercedes key, and you can only get 3 made (you get 4 when you buy the car), and then Mercedes will not make any more for your car (total of 7). So i think $45 and unlimited availability is pretty reasonable .

its not unlimited, i think you get 5 or 6....then your whole car has to be re-keyed.

I lost my car keys (only one i had) and 2 two house keys. Along with the keyless entry remote for the doors (on ti). The dealer said i couldnt get one? Or they dont know about it? When they looked up on the history they said my car wasnt equipped with it. But it does have BMW keyless entry. Hell the remote even said BMW on it.

I got 2 master keys (with push in light on the key (on both keys)).

Good news, both keys started the car right up. No need to reprogram ews/ecu I got them yesterday.

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

Just buy a remote off ebay. Cheaper than the dealer anyway. They are easy to program since you already have the OEM functioning alarm installed, there's a simple DIY on here and on Pelican Parts...

My old remote looked like this. Any remote that looks like this will work right? Or do I need a specific serial?
