Actually, it's quite useful! | | | 03-06-2011, 09:02 PM | #18 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | Quote: Originally Posted by zoner A two-stage rev limiter is not pointless at all if you've ever competitively drag raced... Actually, it's quite useful! | Oh I agree, but on a car as powerless as our cars are ... unless you've got a high boost turbo setup, it really is kinda unnecessary. In our 4 banger powered world, things happen so slow, you could almost get out, go for a nap and come back by the time you've got any movement. | | | 03-06-2011, 10:06 PM | #20 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Portland Or Posts: 2,666 | They are not thaaaat slow! .2 seconds slower than the 325 0-60 MPh... It really takes a lot of the foot feathering guessing out of the equation when your waiting for the tree to go green | | | 03-08-2011, 08:34 PM | #23 | Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2011 Location: lancashire Posts: 22 | Can you do a more agresive tune for uk buyer? Cheers Simon. | Yes I do a US 93octane tune for the M42 witch is equivalent to your 99octane, and the tune is slightly more aggressive my chip can support cold air intake & performance exhaust... other mods would require a custom tune I don't like to quote HP & TQ increase because it very greatly across the board with many factors coming into play, but you can expect between 15-25bhp on a healthy motor | | | 04-01-2011, 12:17 AM | #25 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | sale continues till the end of April ~! inquire at midnight-tuning@rogers.com thanks! | | | 04-22-2011, 04:00 AM | #26 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | Just a reminder this is the last week for the sale All OBD1 chips are 179.99 shipped! sale continues till the end of April ~! inquire at midnight-tuning@rogers.com | | | 04-22-2011, 04:32 AM | #27 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | just installed mine, can't say much about the performance since I only drove it one mile from where I was storing my car to my house and I can't really remember what it drove like before I put it up for winter it does seem to run good though so I'm happy with it so far | | | 04-22-2011, 04:33 AM | #28 | Member Join Date: May 2009 Location: Bangkok, Thailand Posts: 36 | pm me when you will make it at $150 shipped to Thailand | | | 04-22-2011, 04:49 AM | #29 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | Quote: Originally Posted by tiFreak just installed mine, can't say much about the performance since I only drove it one mile from where I was storing my car to my house and I can't really remember what it drove like before I put it up for winter it does seem to run good though so I'm happy with it so far | Glad to hear! | | | 04-22-2011, 04:50 AM | #30 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | Quote: Originally Posted by 9G3Series pm me when you will make it at $150 shipped to Thailand | Shoot me a email and will work something out if your very interested midnight-tuning@rogers.com | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
