Need new keys for my 95 318ti

Hey,.. does anyone know where to get key blanks for my 95 ti? and is their a transponder in the key,.. Is any locksmith capable of cutting the keys or does it have to come directly from BMW ?

Hey canadian ti,I also have 95ti, here in michigan broke my key in half had to go to dealer to get replacement, had to prove it's your car driver license and registration and they send away for it comes to your house in the mail in a couple weeks.. I think it was around 40 bucks with light a little less without light. Hope this helps.

P.S. no transponder in key.
