I need to see pics of your BavAuto jack pad to understand what you're talking about then. Apparently it's different than the one that b.u.ti-ful posted a pic of in post#7. If the jacking pad sticks out from the side skirt, the jack never actually goes underneath the car.

When I didn't have access to wheel ramps, I'd use the regular side holes to jack up one side using the car's jack, then a floor jack under the front cross member just below and behind the steering rack.

This doesn't work for you or you only have access to the one jack?

When you're done, you lower it until you can get the car jack back in and holding up the front end, remove your floor jack, and lower with car jack.

Yea but think, my jack stand base is larger than the area of the lift point. Thus my wheels on my jack are about couple inches or so from the edge of the car, but the jack's base when positioned under the jack point sticks out further than a couple inches from the edge of the car (the skirt).

You can kinda see in this pic, this is where I like to place the jackstands. There's two flat rails that start at the firewall on each side of the transmission:

I got it down. I jack up the front under the place you would put a two post lift arm and set the frame rails on jack stands as shown above. Then I place the jack under the rear diff and lift the ass up and put jack stands in the back like I always do. The car was up in the air in 10 minutes.
