Mine are pretty much slick too . I've been running Bridgestone Potenza RE950's and they're pretty good, although I don't have much to compare them to, so what do I know 225/50-16

I plan on buying some Fuzion ZRi's w/new wheels, when I have some cash.

I have a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE070's they are off of a Subaru STI..They are amazing.. I run them at autocross and on the street in a stock TI and I do pretty well.. the tires are amazing but very expensive.. my best experience is with the Falken Azenis for the best bang for the buck..

I've had Yokohama AVS ES100 and currently have Toyo Proxes T1-S tires. Both are really good tires and have the same treadwear rating (280), but I may go back to the AVS ES100s because their a little cheaper and perform about as well as the Proxes.

Yokohama AVS ES100s. 225/50/16s. Had em for almost 33000 miles (city/hightway, no track) and theyre coming up for replacement soon.
Thinking of buying another set. Weighing the contenders but theyre quite good especially for their price.

I have those Yokohamas (225/50/16...(I think...)) on my car too.
I like them and I think they're pretty good.
I'd get another set of these if these wear out.
I've heard that Toyo Proxes are really good, but really expensive too.

summer tires:
kumho ecsta asx 225/50R16
previously, kumho ecsta supra 712.

the supras are pretty effing tight for a "budget" tire. i would say about 95% of the performance of p-zeros, with 40% the cost. great wet performance, and stop you really well. like any sticky tire, it didn't last a damn.

the asx are nice tires, but i'd really only suggest them if you live in a warmer part of the country (below mason-dixon line) since they can be a little slippery when cold. they also take a good long while to break-in, but i've noticed very, very little wear. they were about $75 per tire, seem that they will last min 30k, and work even for spirited driving. wet is fine (not great, but depends on roads as well), very stable and easy to predict; they will squeal well before they lose grip.
