I just bought a pair of 17" Mille Miglia's off of a guy on bimmerforums, and I want to buy matching BMW center caps for them. Does anyone know where I can find some made for my wheels? Thanks! | | | 11-10-2004, 08:53 AM | #2 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Quote: Originally Posted by swits I just bought a pair of 17" Mille Miglia's off of a guy on bimmerforums, and I want to buy matching BMW center caps for them. You can also buy just the decal from the dealership. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 11-10-2004, 09:12 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Seattle Posts: 140 | In most of the pictures I've seen, the center caps on the mille's look smaller than the original ones. A sticker will be my last resort if I can't fine the actual caps though. | | | 11-10-2004, 09:49 PM | #5 | Member Join Date: Oct 2004 Location: PA Posts: 78 | Talking about Mille Miglie wheels... I have a set of 17" Mille Miglia Action Sport wheels for my 97. I bent one of the wheels and tried to buy a replacement and found out that they have been discontinued and I can't find a replacement wheel anywhere. I'm so bummed. I'm waiting for Mille Miglia in Italy to reply to my email to see if they have one they can sell me. You should be able to finc the center caps on ebay. When my wheels were on my car I was also looking into buying BMW center caps. | | | 11-11-2004, 04:18 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Columbia, SC Posts: 528 | All the factory center caps are is just a piece of plastic with a sticker of the roundel on it. It's a metallic piece (the roundel) glued onto the plastic cap. | | | 11-11-2004, 08:38 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Seattle Posts: 140 | I finally got a plan of action now that I've learned more about my options. I'm gonna wait for the wheels to come in and see if the factory center caps will fit. If they do, then I'll keep my curent ones. If not, I'll go to the dealer and get stickers glued on. I didn't realize the stickers were as nice as they are! Thanks guys!! | | | 11-15-2004, 08:59 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Seattle Posts: 140 | Well, it looks like I won't be needing them afterall. The guy who sold me the wheels emailed me to say they're no longer available and gave me back my $$. No idea why, but I guess my search for wheels starts once again! | | | 11-16-2004, 02:54 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Maryland, USA Posts: 678 | Quote: Originally Posted by swits Well, it looks like I won't be needing them afterall.
