Talking Lost a tool inside cowel vent..

Alright, so I was relocating my battery making things look real nice and all so had to remove the box under the cowel vents, so the cowel vent had to come off, not the first time I have dropped something in there but this time its gone too far out of reach, anyone got any advice how I can get my trusty ol wrench back? lol whats the easier part to get in there and maybe fish it out, engine side or cabin?

Can't envision the actual spot you can't access, but there are a lot of stupid tools I buy at the counter of the auto parts store that are assorted magnets on a stick, or bendy coiled wire spring with three opposed claws at one end and a push button on the other end that functions like a grabber.

I went in today with a magnet and it kept getting stuck, its just the grill part outside under the windshield, the cowel. so I removed the bottom portion and reached in, was easier when I had my hand in there and finally got back my 13mm wrench.
