Question What oil + coolant

Hi all. Just recently i purchased a 95 ti and I have no idea what kind of oil and coolant is the best for this car. I was told that the green coolant is used but i just wanna confirm with 318ti specialist/owners . If there is anything else i need to know about the fluids that are the best for this car, please help me out. I did a research but didn't find anything specific.

Thank you

Ivan

coolant is green, but everywhere i've found says to use bmw coolant. not much more expensive, and worth the piece of mind.

as for oil, many members run dino juice, but most have upgraded to synthetic. there are many threads on this, just run a quick search and you'll get some good information. a rule of thumb is to stick with the same brand / blend for a while, so generally go with what's easily available to you.

There are less than 5 factories who produce antifreeze/coolant in the U.S.
Also, there are over 50 brands Id imagine of coolant. Its all the same **** as long as its green. I work at an auto parts store, and we get our different brands of coolant from the same company. The only difference is the label and the price. They should all generally be the same price, except for AC Delco, which is about 3x as much as normal. Make sure you get the regular green crap, and not the orange dex-cool stuff.
