Default Any sugesstions w/ an S50 swap?

I want to drop in an m3 motor in my car. The parts where I need more info would be (this is for the ones that have done it) How can I get the "best" performance out of doing this swap? I've already done my suspension. Back then I would've liked more info on rotors/shocks and which brands perform better etc. So now that I'm begining this part of the project. Where should I look to? and again to those that have done it. What setup do you have and How much hp/torque have you gotten out of it?

also curious; hows the ride after gutting the car?

I have some shops in mind, but if there are any recommendations for them in Southern Caliifornia that specialize in that work, please let me know.

"The M Shop" in eagle rock will charge you $2K to do all the work and hand you the keys and you drive home. But thats the labor cost only, not parts YOU have to buy/pay.

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

So you have a 323ti but want an S50 OBDI swap? Why not mod the engine you have and make life easier? On the other hand if you have an M42/M44 and did your susprnsion already your front end should be upgraded for the extra weight, as well as almost everything in the drivetrain and brakes. Should.
