Default unstable at speed update

Had our ti booked in for a 4 wheel alignment and underbody inspection last week. The guy said camber and castor spot on, but adjusted tracking for the front (as well as straightening the steering wheel). He also said the front shocks are a bit soft and the rear subframe bushes are suspect.

So, thank you to all you guys who posted last time and well done for your correct diagnosis's(!). I havent had a good go on the lanes, but a quick run down the local dual carriageway had me reach the end, look down and in excess of 75mph had been achieved without me realising it. This would not have happened previously. Must repeat exercise to be sure

I am amazed at how different a car feels when setup right. I am also pleased that i can feel something wrong and the garage found something wrong.

Him finding the shocks to be soft is also a bonus as its easer to justify new ones.

Am now waiting for him to get some prices together for new shock and spring package and replacement bushes. Might be a while, he seems to be a very busy man.

Safe driving
