Default Rear brakes wear uneven???

My rear rotors had uneven wear lines, and the pads too, so I decided to change them. Installed hps pads and rebuild calipers and bavauto drilled rotors. Painted the rotors black so it can prevent from rusting. Two days after install I see rusty lines over the rotor, which means the pads don't have fool grip, and this will mess up the rotors overtime. The same thing as before. If anybody had the same problem, please let me know what's going on. May be the tech didn't install them properly? Everything is brand new! How is that possible ?
This are pictures from the old ones.

Did you buy the proper pad for the ti? Maybe you need to bleed the lines some more after replacing the calipers. Did you bed the pads correctly?

fool grip?

The pads don't sweep the whole rotor. I also would be surprised of the tech actually bedded the pads at all.

Not sure if anyone else had the same results, but I think the stock pads worked better than the HPS. Nowhere near the amount of dust, but the initial bite seems less than the stock pads.

Honestly, I've never read anything good about HPS pads. I have axxis ultimates and can't stand them. When cold they have no initial bite, not good for a dd. If you warm them up they perform nicely though.

I've heard good things about PFC Z rated and Stoptech street performance pads, I plan to switch to one of them this year.

We bled the whole system, and replaced everything at the back. I spend two days researching for the best setup. A lot of people over here use the hps, and I thought its good choice. I think is because I painted the rotor black and some paint might be left on the pads. I feel like crab. Will post some pics, looks terrible

Go out and bed the pads according to the hawk procedure, I believe that will help.

did you paint the entire rotor? I don't know if that really could cause the problem you've been having but I really wouldn't have recommended doing that

Paint shouldn't have done much to it. I usually make a cardboard cutout to spray the hub of the rotor and keep the paint off the swept surface, at the minimum I take some sandpaper and clean the paint off the swept area.....I'd bed the pads in as per the instructions and see if that helps.

What brand are the rotors?

He mentioned bavauto drilled rotors in the first post, which are actually on sale for $50. Wonder if they are cast that way or drilled after the fact?

Yes the rotors are on sale from bavauto. Do you guys think that the pads are not positioned right? I'll call the guy tomorrow and take them out to see whats up. I didnt know every brand has different way to install. The car stops alot better though. Im thinking to upgrade the front with 330 calipers and rotors. I read somewere that we cant do much about, the rear?

Did you go out and bed the pads yet?

The pads are positioned fine. That's almost impossible to do.

It's probably a bedding issue.

Thank you for that info, and thank everybody for help. I did't know what is to bed a pad. I'll wait till the weather permits and will heat up those brakes.

See if the info from HPS has directions for bedding the pads, or breaking them in. My procedure -- if the pads do not have directions -- is a few days of easy driving, then a series of hard stops, getting hot enough to start to fade.
