I am so glad to hear that you are ok. My Ti went through 2 major wrecks, both time they could have been totaled. In the end, I miss the car greatly, but I was so impressed with the structural integrity of the car on both occasions, I bought one for my 16 year old son. I still miss my Ti.

I'm glad that you're okay man. Where did it happen?
#1 thing is that you walked away.

Glad to hear that nobody got seriously hurt from the accident. Do get yourself checked out to be on the safe side. Sorry about the loss on the ti. So sad to have another ti RIP. It's a special breed that is slowly being taken away. Might be time to salvage all the good parts for your next ti. Keep us posted on your situation and get well soon.

Default hang in there!

It all boils down to this.

I'd be pretty hurt to loose my ti, even more so if it was my 2002.

Think of it this way; they need you way more than a car is needed. She did her job and kept you safe and alive to see another day.

Stay positive and keep an eye out. Sometimes the hunt is more exciting than the catch!

Also with that type of accident you should be very keane to any type of pain you have, especially back and neck. If something feels the slightest bit off from the norm, get to the dr asap and get xrays and an mri.

Best of luck,

David

I totaled my 98 ti in 2000. Felt terrible, especially since it was my fault.
I found myself a nice little 1996 328ti less than a month later.
I'll never feel like my 96 is really mine but it taught me that cars can be replaced.

Hang in there.

Thank you Steven,

Since I've owned my car I have learned a great deal here, thanks to this community. I am proud to see the support and respect that goes along with our little org. And I am proud to be a member here and repsect the wisdom and experience amongst all our members.

Thanks to everyone for all of your encouraging words! I greatly appreciate them.

I still have my fingers crossed.........she's not gone yet.

Awwww Chad, I'm soooo sorry bro. Your Ti was so nice. I know you're bummed but it seems like you're keeping a positive attitude and seeing the bright side of things. Time to start shopping for another Ti. I'll keep my eyes open for one.

Thanks Jess, Im in way better spirits today. I've already started my search for another ti. It's not looking to good, most of what im seeing is auto or not worth looking at here locally. May have to consider buying out of state.

I was even considering looking e36 325 & 328's. What do you guy's think?

Haha, yeaaaaaah I would have liked to enjoy my ti just a bit longer. But you cannot control the un-controllables I suppose.

I had my ti for just a little over a year, sad to see it go. Seriously I feel like part of my family has been taken. Sounds corny, but Im sure most of you can relate.

Im gonna come back real soon with a real stunner.

I hope

I say you get back on the horse - save all you can from the ti & get another one!
