Thanks, Ayton. You and me go WAY back from the DTMpower days. You were one of the first die-hard Ti guys. I always loved your Ti. Cheers!!! I feel sad that this hatch is probably "out of the loop" now, and is destined to a junk yard in a few years. Such a shame.

Looking back, I should have either kept the car, or sent it to one of the "old school" bimmer guys in the west coast.

I'm glad you finished reading the rebuttal, Techinic!! It took me about a full day to type-up...and I hate typing, but this was the worst betrayal I have ever experienced. The anger was my energy to type this all up.

I'm not a physical person, but when I first read his comments...I wanted to hurt something. It wasn't so much the comments about ME that I found offensive, but the ones about "My baby".

Sounds like you and the car got a raw deal. The whole paint thing is ridiculous though. My car is a 1995 washed nearly every weekend possible and waxed quite a few times a year, but I do drive it everyday. Stuff happens. The paint has nicks in the front from bugs and rocks.

I know that my car has been taken car of because my dad bought it new as his first BMW and then handed it off to my when I turned 16.

I can't, unfortunately, work on my car though. I just don't know how. Suspension parts, internal engine parts, drive line I have no clue, but I hope to learn from somewhere. I do know that there are very few things more satisfying than dialing in my coil-overs, ripping out, cleaning, and reinstalling my interior...... pretty much anything I can do to my car by myself.
