I was backing up trying to line myself up with the exit and I ended up backing my left rear wheel right off the edge and getting it hung up on the trailing arm. I had to run inside to borrow a jack so I could jack my back wheel up enough to stick some pieces of broken concrete underneath it. Took it up to 70 on the way home and it seemed to track straight so other than some scrapes on my trailing arm and exhaust no harm done. side note, I'm pretty sure the clutches in my LSD are shot | | | 07-21-2011, 04:58 AM | #1597 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2010 Location: Potomac Falls VA DMV Posts: 1,794 | I just did my diff mod today. I could barely see out the back window. Did the back. It looked so good, I took off the passenger doors window tint. Then removed the rear tint. Now to replace my stickers that I had to take off. Car looks so much better. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 07-24-2011, 01:32 AM | #1602 | Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: Boston/Florida Posts: 94 | euro radiator cover some before and after shots... | | | 07-24-2011, 05:16 AM | #1603 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Wichita Falls, Texas Posts: 1,364 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti Finally removed my 13 year old tint. It took all of 10 hours in 100 degree weather with maybe two or three 10 min brakes. i reek of grease and sweat and have a million bug bites. had some friends help. it was all worth it. i love it. so smooth and it locks up HARD. lets just say, after i did my break in procedure with it. i went out on my spare tires and had some fun.
