Way less work than a part-out.. Of course the average TI is not going to be worth much over about 3000 these days.. Sad but they were an entry level car.. __________________ Dave - PDX 1995 318ti - Active Black and Tan. 2005 330xi - Mtech 1 - 6spd - Orient Blue/Black | | | 11-23-2014, 07:43 AM | #54 | Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2014 Location: Moody AL Posts: 16 | I would have put a 6 cylinder in it in a heartbeat but it's automatic and I've got no history on the tranny. I dislike auto so it wasn't my liking. Don't get me wrong, I rather keep a car alive rather than strip a good car but this car had some rust issues than would need to be dealt with too. Just FYI to those inquiring, I have sold the car. Is the rubber all in excellent condition or are they cracked/splitting like most? Also, hood struts and brackets in great shape? I am looking for "like new" looking components for my compact=) __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 11-25-2014, 09:04 AM | #56 | Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2014 Location: Moody AL Posts: 16 | Hey Earl, The car is sold, but the hood shocks were shot and the quarter seals were weathered I believe. No loss for you.
