Default e46 conversion?

hi,

i was wondering if anyone had any links/ info about a front conversion to make the e36 ti front look like the e46? Also, does anyone know how much this would cost?

Yes. Itll be like buying a body kit. But youll by the E36, e46 front bumper. Just make sure its an E36 custom bumper thatll look like the E46 front bumper. There's plenty in ebay.

No because youll be getting a e36, E46 front bumper style.

It depends on how far you want to take the conversion. Most people just buy the E46style bumper for their E36. I have seen some people that have actually changed their headlight styles and the hood so that the complete front matches the E46 style. That would be a custom job as I've not seen a kit to change the style of the hood.

+1...Custom job is the way to go. I looked into it a few years ago and it will be costly to do it properly.

wow why would ever want to do that....

the e36 looks so much better than a e46 and you would ruin that by sticking a e46 front end on it ???

That conversion would be sick. They have the whole kit over in germany, but it is a lot of work. They make the whole e36 body panel conversion to, but they don't make a whole conversion for the Ti.

You have to admit that a custom job like that around here in the states would turn heads. People always say anyway that they've never seen a BMW like mine before. It would just make it more rare, not to mention it's his car anyway. DO WHAT YOU WANT!!! I wouldn't do it personally, but I like to see that stuff.
