When I cold start my car it will idle wildly, going from almost stalling out to 1500 rpm's or so, if I push the gas pedal a few times and rev it to around 2k it'll idle back down to normal...I just replaced the plug wires thinking that may be it but it's still doing it. i drove it around town for about 15 minutes or so and it acted just fine, accelerated smoothly, and there was no sputtering at stop signs or anything. When I got home I turned it off and then back on and it revved to 1500 and stayed there and wouldn't drop back down. Any ideas? __________________

not sure haven't checked. What's the best stuff to use to clean the ICV? and what do I need to do to check the TPS? __________________

Brake and Parts cleaner. A scan tool or multimeter, and a shop manual.

I tried checking the codes last week and it would never start blinking, I turned the key on, pushed the pedal 5 times, and the light just stayed solid. __________________

I'm pretty sure its the tps because after some thought I realized the symptoms I'm having are the same ones my wife had in her jeep awhile back...the problem I'm having now is finding the part number for it because I can't seem to find it on reaor pelican. All pelican is showing is camshaft and crankshaft sensors. __________________
