This is the time where i feel like going to city hall and punching the first person i see right in the face and ask them where my hard earned tax dollars go. I hate that S**T bent my wheel and everything... | | | 05-23-2006, 04:14 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Tampa, FL Posts: 677 | Actually you should and need to march to your city hall. If it is a danger to you and others then it is manditory for them to fix it promptly. If you are lucky they should replace all damaged parts on your car, unfortunetly they have the best lawyers on their side and might make you go to your insurance company (which is probably not worth the hassle and raise in rate) Good luck to you though, I hope someone else pays for the damage and not you. __________________ my new world | | | 05-23-2006, 04:20 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Portland Oregon Posts: 1,363 | Was it on a backroad or a main city highway? | | | 05-23-2006, 04:23 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Fall River, MA Posts: 192 | it was right on my street. i cant believe i didnt even see it | | | 05-23-2006, 04:24 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Fall River, MA Posts: 192 | one good thing is i had a spare 18" wheel and tire just in case this happened. That is absolutely their fault, not yours. | | | 05-23-2006, 06:35 AM | #8 | Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: MA Posts: 72 | Sorry to hear that, Dont feel bad thought because it just happened to me like a week ago and I bent a rim too. In Providence on the s-curve on 195(i'm pretty sure you know where that is if your from fall river, Im from New Bedford myself.) I decieded to go out and buy new rims and tires..it gave me a excuse to go get them. Anyways, I wish you luck with your claim, I'm in the process to of getting a refund on a new rim. __________________ Take Chances,Drive Fast, Be Safe! Here in T.O. we have some of the worst roads. Steeles Ave. W. and St. Clair come to mind, although I'd rather not think about them. Heading north on Bathurst passing St. Clair certainly beats the sh!t out of shocks and especially the rear tires! I always murmur "Ouch!" or "Poor car!" whenever I cross it. __________________ Dinan '95 318ti /// Boston Green | | | 05-23-2006, 11:57 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by bmwman1983 ask them where my hard earned tax dollars go. | At the stupid war. I think you might find your money somewhere underground in iraq. Or, your money is being used to rebuild something they bombed, so you can look in between houses.
