offset control arm bushing ?

Hi all, I wanted to know if anyone has installed the offset control arm bushings. Reason being I am replacing most of my bushings throughout and I purchased a set of the 95 m3 offset bushings. I read up on how to do the install but I wanted to know what part of the bushing lines up with the arrow on the bushing housing? I am guessing this is kinda important with it being offset in all. Any help is appreciated.

Isn't there an arrow on the old bushing as well? Just mark the bushing housing. I think the pelican parts DIY tells you how to make sure you keep it lined up right.

I have offset bushings but they are from treehouse racing, not the M3 type.

sorry to throw out the newbie question, but what exactly does this offset accomplish and by how much? whats the benefit?

Slight increase to negative camber as well as a slight change in toe I believe... as well as a harder material. Don't have the specifics memorized...

moh is correct.

It increases the amount of castor (-) and pushes the wheel a little more out to the side

if couples with a M3 control arm , it will move the wheel forward in the well also

The format for the standard concentric bushes are floating

The format for the 328 sport and 3.0 S50 bushes are solid eccentric

The M3 3.2 S52 evo uses solic concentric bushes , as the control arms for the Evo compensate for the required camber
