Default Right wheel shaking???

I'm having this strange issue on my 97 TI and I'm hoping I can find some guidance on what can be the problem. when ever I drive over a slight imperfection in the road or a pot hole my steering wheel seems to shake violently. It feels like most of vibration is coming from the right side but I do not notice any thing out of the ordinary. The problem is still happening with two different sets of wheels that have both been balanced.

Control arm and lolipop bushings may be shot.

Check for play.

Thanks a lot I jacked the car up this morning and Inspected the bushing. And I'm pretty sure that that is the problem. Is there any bushing that you would recommend as a replacement/upgrade ?

Driving in the City's potholes and 101? OEM rubber should be most comfortable.

I suspect M3 offset would work as well, but someone else wil need to speak to the geometry changes.

Lemforder bushings should be your best bet.

I've had that problem before and it vibrates or shakes at a certain speed and found out that the wheel bearing is bad. Hope this helps.

You may have other issues but you certainly have failed lower control arm bushings.

I do not recommend replacing with stock bushings. Instead... stock bushings from a 96-99 M3 are (just about) solid rubber. They are also centered so the suspension geometry remains unchanged.

Pre-Pressed OEM Lemforder M3 Bushings

The 95 M3 offset bushings would work but they increase caster (good), move the wheel forward in the fender opening (may cause clearance issues depending on wheel/tire combo) and require an alignment as the toe will change with the caster adjustment.
