Impressive- I would love to get this as an addendum to Jim's swap manual!

In summary- did you wind up with a hybrid system or did you reinstall the Ti ABS/ASC? I am confued by your last post.

Yep raising this from the dead...

Autoxer- what was your final solution to the drive shaft length issue? FWIW I now know the Z3 2.8/M drive shaft is 1244mm compared to the 1544mm of the stock Ti. How did you deal with the 4 bolt flange on the diff?

Also, where did you get the ASC wiring diagrams for the M3 and Ti? I would like to compare those of the 2.8 Z3 with the Ti. If you have them I sure would appreciate a copy or note where I can get them.

Thanks, Phil

For those on the side lines watching, all the drive shaft lengths are listed in the manual. Have been for quite a while (although the earliest versions did not have this information- continuoious improvement!).

Also information on the linkage as well.

So, if you have the manual, you have the information you need. Don't worry.

if you happen to have an OLD manual, and don't have this information, PM me with your manual number and name, and I will give you whatever information you need.

I used a drive shaft from a 328i. It was just the right length with the correct ends for the M3 transmission and the M Roadster diff.

I saw on the other thread that you got some wiring diagrams already. I got mine from dealer. (I used to work there and still know a bunch of people so they helped me out with access to the diagrams)
