From what I seen thru carfax and such it presents itself in a very good manner. (No accidents/collision). So I will have to assume any problem at the dealership will be of normal wear and tear. That is why I been doing research on this car and asking here what I should look for. Anything I should really look for which may lead to expensive repair in the long run? | | | 11-05-2006, 10:45 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | Look for window regulators (Easy to fix, but a hassle and annoying as hell), water pump, alternator, headliner, brakes, tires, battery, etc. | | | 11-05-2006, 10:52 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Clearwater, Florida Posts: 153 | Ah! Okay! Any guides which you can point me to check these things? Thanks! | | | 11-05-2006, 11:49 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | For the window regulators, move the windows up and down. Water pump, ask if they had replaced it already if it's more than 90k miles, same with alternator. Check the brakes, see if they will need replacement soon. Tires should not be near the wear bars, battery should have the green floating bead or still be under warranty, and head liner should not be sagging. You can do a search for these things in this forum. | | | 11-05-2006, 11:56 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Clearwater, Florida Posts: 153 | Okay! Awesome! Thanks!
