Stumbled across an ITB manifold last night and wish I had the money to make it happen=/

I was saying mine was going to look like yours because of how grimey it looks 😂 Is the e30 m3 an improvement over stock if it's the same length?

So, you never felt a difference without the sound dampening removed? Mine is falling apart and I thought about replacing it, getting rid of it altogether would be a lot easier. Lol

Don't you need two more itbs?

The one I have is a UUC DSSR. So it is dual sheer versus being put through one side. It eliminates side to side play in the shifter.

I never had a dampener on my car but it never had any vibrations or odd noises when I drove it.

That is a picture of half of the kit haha

My flywheel got finished up yesterday=)

My clutch kit should be on it's way here shortly and I am picking up a transmission on Saturday. Once I get the trans, I will be cleaning it up and replacing the shifter detent springs, input/output shaft seals, selector shaft seal, and the selector rod joint.

Did you order up the seals yet? Trying to find good pricing. That is funny we are doing it at the same time. We can bounce ideas off of eachother haha.

Hey Earl,

Can I have EXACT specs of your car so I can go and copy everything you've done so far.

Thank you!

First and foremost that was NOT DIRECT TO YOU. Do not get all jacked up on mountain dew and jump on me like a spider monkey. It was not directed towards anyone and don't be offended by that comment since it was a joke between Earl and I.

Picked up another getrag 250 Saturday to replace the one that was in the car. I had some first gear issues and figured I should really replace it while I am doing everything else.

The trans mounts that were on it were some of the worst I have seen=P It looks like they were separated and the trans was just resting on them...

Anyone ever see a selector rod joint like this? I have a feeling it is some cheap off brand replacement. Good thing I am replacing it anyways=)

Here is a comparison of the clutch fork pivot pins. The middle is the one from my car and the one on the right is from the "new" trans.

I also cleaned up the clutch fork, media blasted it, and have it ready for powder coating. The wear was pretty minimal.

I started cleaning up the trans a little yesterday. Still not near as clean as I want but it's better.

Hoping to finish cleaning it this week so that I can pull the old seals. Ordering the new seals, detent springs, selector rod joint, bitch clip, and clutch fork retaining spring as well.

Scrubbed the trans a bit more last night. I might go over it one more time because I am still not happy with some spots.

Picked up the flywheel yesterday after work=) Don't mind the stain on the friction surface. It happened when the flywheel was cleaned after being resurfaced. You cannot feel it on the surface so it won't harm anything.

I also got some parts back from powdercoat.
