I bought a 96ti cali ed to give my 97 M3 sedan a break. I bought on the cheap with a few dings and a bunch of quirks but the motor works fine and drives fine. I love the cali top but it's failing miserably so I think I'm going to remove it and go with the acrylic glass option. I read a few guys have done it here. I'd like to hear your feedback and any pointers. Thanks, Gil | | | 07-03-2014, 06:27 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Sacramento, CA Posts: 2,451 | Gil Welcome! Nice blue! What is wrong with your top? I recently purchased a Cali as well and mine was failing as well but I think it will be all better in about two weeks. With a dark tint on the plexiglass - that could work. Wonder how you seal it in and how long it would last? | | | 07-03-2014, 05:27 PM | #8 | Junior Member Join Date: May 2014 Location: Los Angeles Posts: 7 | Yeah I'm going to limo tint the glass and use a waterproof silicone along the sides. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
