Default Single sub box

Hello All.
Just built this box in my spare time at training, and beings that I will not have a stereo system for quite a while, I am just going to sell it. The box will stay in the corner and removal of the little storage pod is necessary. It is made of 3/4" hardwood and has been caulked and nailed quite heavily. It does contour to the basic shape of the corner of the trunk, although it doesn't follow perfectly. It will house a 10" or 12" sub, currently hole cut out for Alpine Type-R (9.1" diameter hole). If you have any questions, please PM me. Selling for $70 plus shipping, will carpet for additional fee.

I'm guessing black carpet is pretty standard for most people then, I just don't want to carpet it and have it not match their interior. Besides, looks like a pretty handy tool catch in the corner there, its got quite a good amount of room for stuff. Just trying to gauge interest on the item, doesn't seem like anyone needs a box.

Best of luck on that search

No, seriously I think that there have been a couple of options, such as a Q-logic box (which I have never seen for a ti) or the infinity basslink setup.

Personally, custom built would be the only way to go. Yes, they have played with flat subs, but its the enclosure room requirement that bites subs in the butt, not the actual size of them. Where would you want the sub? Anyway you look at it, your going to have to sacrifice some part of your car if you want more bass, whether you install it where your spare tire is, or you build a new rear deck with a sub in it, your going to lose space or functionality of some part of your car. The box I have for sale can have a smallish (200-300 watt) amp installed on the back side of it without having to adjust anything in terms of its placement. As you can see from the pictures, its not taking up THAT much room, as most of the trunk is very useable, and the box is very light and can be removed quite easily. It doesn't bolt in or anything, so if you need the space it can be had. Don't know what everyone else thinks, but I'm willing to listen.

Thats a good find, although with kenwoods track record, I would be careful and go somewhere to check one out before purchase. Dual 6.5" woofers is a good idea though, don't need much space and can put out decent sound, just wouldn't be trying to hit 20hz with that

lol i agree i HATE kenwood. They have CRAPPPPY speakers but their amps ive had really good experience with. i personally have never heard this sub system. BUT Clex has one in his car and he says its GREAT so id take his word for it.

look cool but its a shallow sub which means the recoil wont be as affective which then means it wont kick like it should. Still looks like it could be good though kicker has always made good subs... and ya Mallard I'm going to buy one either next week or the week after. Matters when i sell my tails and ill install it and tell you guys how it performs =D
