I recently got into a car accident and now I have to replace my headlights. Do I buy the 4-door or 2-door headlights? I thought the Ti takes 4-door parts in the front end but I wanted to make sure. I'm also looking at some angel eyes so any suggestions would be much appreciated. Is ebay a good place to start? The lights on there look kinda rice rocket-like which is what I DON'T want. thanks, | | | 09-20-2005, 04:31 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | http://www.umnitza.com/ seems to be a popular place among members. there is discussion over which brand to get, but a search should turn up some results. IIRC, all headlights are the same. corner markers are for the 4 door though. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 09-20-2005, 04:32 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Long Beach area Posts: 1,189 | www.umnitza.com My brother got his angel eyes there. For your headlights, I've heard that you can't go wrong with ZKW headlights. If you have the money to spend, Bosch and Hella (not the celis one, but the european OEM ones) are good too. -Randy [edit] you beat me to it Aceyx lol. __________________ 97 Jet Black 318ti Sport. Umnitza has the headlights with the angel eyes already built in them. They are very good quality and they are plug and play. Check my gallery if you want to see the quality of them. http://www.318ti.org/gallery/showpho...500&ppuser=642 __________________ 1989 E30 325is 5s Coupe Zinnoberrot 1991 E30 325i Auto Coupe Schwartz 1991 E30 325is 5s Coupe Hellrot 1995 318ti E36 Alpine White III DASC (RIP) 1996 328i 4Dr Artic Silver (RIP) 1999 M3 Estoril Blue Metallic RMS Vortech SC 2001 325i E46 Alpine White - Sports Package (SOLD) 2005 E46 M3 Coupe SMG | | | 09-20-2005, 08:07 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | | | | 09-20-2005, 08:30 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Vancouver, B.C. Canada Posts: 465 | Go with oem ZKW's or Bosch ellipsoids, all of them will fit the ti, there is no difference between 2 & 4 door headlamps. If you want angel eyes, go with www.umnitza.com. Also, I highly recommend an HID upgrade while you're at it. __________________ | | | 09-21-2005, 12:40 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: England Posts: 177 | Quote: Originally Posted by aceyx http://www.umnitza.com/ seems to be a popular place among members. there is discussion over which brand to get, but a search should turn up some results. The corner lights, sidemarkers, and grills changed between years and models, but not the headlights. __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion.
