Wow Blue. I would love to get my hands on those. Do you think you could wait 2 months to sell them to me. I am in school till the end of April and I won't be able to buy them until then. How much would a set of tires be for those puppies? And is 21 pounds an average weight for a 17" rim (heavy or light?)

Im actually trying to get these sold ASAP to pick up another set of rims and 2 months is definately too long. Depends on what tires you want on the rims as to how expensive theyd be. 21 pounds is a decent weight for a 17x8 rim. Its not a racing wheel, but i definately see a lot of people taking them to the tracks and autox.

What is the longest you could wait? I am super interested in these. I actually asked you a long time ago where I could get a set of them. I was bumbed when you said they no longer made them. If you need to seel them within the week I may have to crunch some numbers to see if I can purchase them.

The tires that are on there now came with the rims when i bought them. Theyd need to be removed.

Wow I just had the most crazy coincidence in the world happen to me. I was really getting ready to buy these rims, so I called up a local wheel and tint shop and asked how much a set of new tire would run me. He said that a set of marangoni's would be about 200 a wheel. I told him I would take a look in his shop and see the tires. Anyways, when I get there he tells me that he just bought some rims for his son but they didn't fit his GLI and he thought that they would look good on my car.... He brings these things out and there they are, sitting right in front of me...An unused set of 17" Mille Miglia II's with marangoni tires all for 1400$ canadian.

....Lets just say that my car will be lookin very sexy on wednesday when they get put on.

Sorry Blue, I just had to tell my story...But I'm sure someone else will definately enjoy your rims.

Not to get OT on blue's thread but I think VW's have a different bolt pattern (5x100mm?). Did you check the offset? What the heck is a marangony?
