Default Weird ABS Motor Issue...

Not really a question here, just something for the archives.

I had my ABS light and motor come on this morning. The motor was running constantly even after I shut off the ignition, so I guess the ABS motor relay is always hot. Restarting the car didn't fix anything. It was quite strange having the car completly turned off, but the ABS motor still running.

I pulled back into my parking lot and popped the hood because I was going to remove the ABS relay so it wasn't running all day But as soon as I touched the gray ABS relay the ABS motor immediately shut off. Just a light tough was enough to stop it.

The ABS light shut off as well and didn't come back all day. So... I guess the ABS relay is flaking out on me, unless it was an amazing coincidence that it shut off when it did.
