I have a UUC shifter but the throw is similar to a MZ3.

Yeah, your shifter is a bit tighter than mine. Then again, I did fabricate some of my own parts for mine....

I have a Rogue Engineer SSK, with custom lead filled selector rod.

I just got my B&M Short Shifter in the other day, It's real nice and not to expensive.

believe we have an article on a SSK install in the knowledgebase. depends on what all is included in the kit on how hard it is to install. i did mine while i had the driveshaft out to do the guibo and center bearing, making it easier to get access to the shifter arm and such.
